The Best Fashion Moments So Far At The 2024 Summer Olympics

The 2024 Summer Olympics are in full swing right now in Paris, and there has been no shortage of thrilling highlights from the games thus far. Of course, being in the fashionable city of Paris, there has also been no shortage of incredible fashion moments, both in competition and around the City of Lights. Here are some of the best fashion moments from the 2024 Olympics so far:

Serena Williams In Winning Red

Tennis legend and 4-time Olympic gold medalist Serena Williams attended the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games donning a stunning red dress. The head-to-toe look is from Dolce & Gabbana and was a stylish way for Williams to turn heads at the event.

Team USA Gymnastics Dazzles

The USA women’s gymnastics team dominated the team competition, triumphantly taking home the gold. Simone Biles, Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera wowed in the finals wearing custom leotards designed by GK Elite. These star-spangled leotards were embellished with 9,929 Swarovski crystals that made these Olympians truly shine.

Cynthia Erivo & Ariana Grande Look Wicked-ly Good

The Wicked promotional tour has kicked into high gear, with a big push happening during the Olympics (including a “Defying Gravity” tie-in with the gymnastics competition). Stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande appeared at the Opening Ceremony looking just like their on-screen counterparts, with Erivo donning the signature greens of her character, Elphaba, and Grande in sweet pink like her character, Galinda. Erivo’s dress was custom made by Louis Vuitton, while Grande wore Thom Browne.

The Czech Republic Sports Stylish Jackets

One of the most exciting parts of the Opening Ceremony is seeing all the different countries and their outfits that celebrate their heritage and their flag colors. There were plenty of standout looks, but I have to give a shout out to the Czech Republic team for their stylish tie-dye coats. Because it rained during the procession on the Seine River, their outfits became practical style statements as well.

I also have to give a shoutout to Team Haiti’s stylish looks, designed by Stella Jean.

Sean White & Nina Dobrev Don Sporty-Chic Looks

Shaun White is no stranger to the Olympics, but this time he attended as a spectator with girlfriend Nina Dobrev. The duo sported stylish ensembles designed by Ralph Lauren, looking every bit the part of fashionable Team USA supporters.

Team USA Goes Preppy

Speaking of Ralph Lauren, the iconic American designer was behind the Team USA Opening Ceremony ensembles once again. Athletes wore navy blue blazers with red and white piping, blue and white striped button-downs, and jeans for a preppy take on classic Americana.

Sha’Carri Richardson Rocks A USA Manicure

Track and field star Sha’Carri Richardson is never afraid to rep her personal style on and off the track, and that includes her signature long manicures. For the Opening Ceremony, she rocked a patriotic red, white, and blue set. We’ll see if she sports this manicure throughout the games or if she has a new style ready for when she competes!

Team Mongolia Wins Best Dressed

Hands-down the concensus vote of “Best Opening Ceremony Outfit” that I’ve seen while perusing online is Team Mongolia’s. Designers Michel&Amazonka created these incredible looks that combined traditional Mongolian styles with modern fashions for an iconic ensemble that has gone viral on social media.

Emma Chamberlain Embraces Equestrian Chic

Emma Chamberlain attended the Opening Ceremony wearing an incredibly chic Ralph Lauren look that combined the sporty style of equestrian riders with the effortless sophistication of classic Parisian style.
