A BRAND BUILT BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN
For Peach, fashion serves as an outlet for confidence and defies fabric and shape. She envisioned Gongdid to be a place where women could feel empowered—both the women who wear Gongdid and those who craft it.
“From the start, Gongdid was about cultivating an environment where women could feel empowered—not just in what they wear, but in the very act of making these pieces,” she reflects. “I wanted to build a brand that celebrates craftsmanship while honoring the women behind it.”
In an industry where male-led ateliers have dominated. Gongdid takes an alternative path. Women’s hands meticulously mold every stitch, fold, and pleat; their artistry, commitment, and collective spirit are woven into every garment. The designs take on a life beyond simple apparel in this setting of mutual support and shared invention, they represent a philosophy that reflects the very nature of the women who give them life: grace and strength in balance, movement and strength.
