She’s it. She’s the ultimate.
At The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Wednesday afternoon, Lindsay Lohan arrived to CinemaCon 2025 in support of the upcoming sequel to her hit Disney film Freaky Friday, fittingly titled Freakier Friday. There, she completely stole the show in a trio of designer looks (a trick she’s pulled before) that proved her style is anything but freaky.
First, Lohan stepped out for a presentation with her costar, Jamie Lee Curtis, where they each made a statement in complementary colors.
For Lohan, that consisted of a vintage purple mini dress from Chanel—a teeny, spaghetti-strap number that she paired with clear PVC slingbacks, also courtesy of the French luxury house, and jewelry from Cartier. Meanwhile, Curtis wore a harmonious suit in mustard yellow, which consisted of a double-breasted blazer and matching wide-leg pants.
But the day belonged to Lohan, who earlier had posed for a Disney Studios photocall in a teal number from Saint Laurent. It featured long sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline, as well as rows of tight ruching.
The Mean Girls actor showed up again later that night to accept the CinemaCon Vanguard Award. For this, she swapped out her summery minis for something a little more refined: a black gown from Jacquemus.
The elegant piece, called the Rita Long Dress, featured a plunging V-shaped neckline that draped around Lohan, partly exposing her shoulders. Further down, there was slight ruching along the waist, which smoothed out on the skirt, and a slit up the side that helped reveal her pair of matching pointy pumps from Saint Laurent.
As she accepted her award, Lohan reflected on her career, saying, “There’s nothing like the magic of cinema. I first saw myself on the big screen when I was very young in The Parent Trap with Disney, and it was so surreal, but I felt right at home.”
The actor went on to thank members of Disney who she’s worked closely with, as well as her loved ones. “Everyone at Disney always has had so much belief in me,” she said. “And to my husband, for his constant support and continuously encouraging me and my family. To my fans for a lifetime love. And to my team, thank you for always having my back, it’s so important to me. Thank you, CinemaCon, for believing in me and for coming to cinema and bringing me here for this wonderful recognition. Thank you so much. God bless and have a great night. Thank you.”
Freakier Friday is a bit of a homecoming for Lohan, as it sees her and Curtis playing on-screen mother and daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman yet again, over 20 years later. But this time, it’s not just the two who switch bodies, but also Anna’s daughter, Harper (Julia Butters) and her soon-to-be stepdaughter, Lily (Sophia Hammons).
If Lohan were to switch closets with anyone anytime soon, I would happily take the part.
