Vanessa Hudgens is “such a comfy girl” now.

The 36-year-old actress – who shot to fame as a teenager when she was cast opposite Zac Efron in ‘High School Musical’ – explained that she used to embrace a life of “dressing up” for all occasions, but now she has a much more “practical” sense of style.

She told E! News: ” I’m such a comfy girl. It’s so funny because I used to be so about dressing up and themes every moment I could get. The older that I get, the more practical I get. Life is chaotic and hectic. I don’t need to make it any more stressful than it needs to be. So, I keep things cozy.”

But the ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ star – who has a seven-month-old child with her fiance Cole Tucker – insisted that all clothing choices are down to the individual and noted that they are likely to “change” on a day-to-day basis.

She said: “It really is about what works for you that day and having grace for yourself because it will change. I [recently] wore a set of with super cozy knit pants and a cardigan that was just the epitome of what you want to be wearing at home every day”

Vanessa also joked that while a typical shopping day used to be all about the “girly fashion” for her, nowadays she much prefers treating herself to homewares.

She said: “It used to be Candies and super cute, girly fashion. Now, I’m going to Kohl’s and buying my favorite Mason Margiela By the Fireplace Candles and faux fur throws, things to make my home super cozy.”
