In 2008, Holmes attended a reception to benefit UNICEF hosted by Gucci in New York City. For the occasion, Holmes opted for a fiery red cocktail dress with an angular bolero. Holmes paired the dress with bold gold heels.

In 2013, Holmes attended the Met Gala for the “Punk: Chaos to Couture” exhibition. Holmes wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection gown, which she accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and white sandals. The actress’ sleeveless dress featured subtle pleats and a halter neckline with backless detail.

When Holmes attended the 2019 Met Gala, where the theme was “Celebrating Camp: Notes on Fashion,” she opted for an exaggerated yet elegant design. The actress wore a look courtesy of designer Zac Posen, featuring purple and black colorways in delicate tools. The body of the dress featured a column silhouette, with a flared, voluminous skirt that added drama to the ensemble. The straps of the dress featured a dusty fuchsia element.

2024

Last October, Holmes went wholly modern with her color-blocked dress at the CFDA Awards in New York City. The producer wore a dress courtesy of Carolina Herrera. The long-sleeve bodice of the dress featured a soft pink hue, while the connected skirt was a vibrant red. The dress also featured two side cutouts that revealed an alluring open back with a black bow tied at the back of Holmes’ neck. Stylist Brie Welch curated Holmes’ look for the event.
