Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper embodied the sartorial version of the modern American Dream as they stepped out in New York City this week.
The two were spotted wearing co-ordinating red, white and blue outfits as they enjoyed the unseasonable weather. Hadid‘s outfit was a nod to the all-American ‘girl next door’ — with her signature Hadid street-style twist — in a vintage graphic tee that she rolled up at the sleeves and tucked into a pair of classic straight-leg blue jeans.
The outfit was pulled together with a brown belt, while a strawberry-red cashmere sweater, likely from her own Guest in Residence label, was tied across her chest. To match, she accessorised with a white and red baseball cap (from Tag Heuer’s Formula 1 collaboration with Kith), a pair of gold retro shades, layered golden chain necklaces, and a cream leather clutch from Loro Piana.
The model finished the look with one of the most popular shoes of the last few years: the Birkenstock slide. Originally from Germany, the iconic clog-style has become a go-to for many — even managing to break into high fashion thanks to multiple collaborations with designer brands.
Cooper was the ideal counterpart to Hadid’s girl-next-door style in an outfit also composed of red, white and blue staple pieces. The actor wore a bright red T-shirt paired with blueish-grey cargo trousers, as well as trainers in a similar icy slate hue. He carried a white jumper and completed the look with a pair of dark aviator sunglasses.
