Fashion Cents, which operates three consignment shops and a discount store, has just opened a new store in Providence Township.
The new Fashion Cents store takes a 5,000-square-foot spot next to BB’s Outlet that is the former home of King’s Home Furnishings, which is moving to a larger spot nearby at 2218 Beaver Valley Pike.
The store near Quarryville carries clothing, shoes and toys as well as books and housewares. It is a mix of consignor goods and new merchandise.
Owned by Brittany Allen, Fashion Cents opened its first store in Strasburg Borough in 2012. Fashion Cents also has consignment shops in Ephrata Township and Caernarvon Township, Berks County. In May 2023 Fashion Cents opened a store in Blue Ball, Fashion Cents Bargain Bins, which features weekly deliveries of closeout merchandise.
