Dynasty and Soull Ogun of L’Enchanteur walked away Wednesday night with the 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. L’Enchanteur makes clothes, eyewear and sculptures, but is best known for its jewelry collection.

The two runners-up were Jackson Wiederhoeft of Wiederhoeft and Spencer Phipps of Phipps.

Olympics track star and gold medalist Gabby Thomas revealed the winners Wednesday night during the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund at Monkey Bar in New York City.

The winner will receive $300,000, while the two runners-up will receive $100,000 each. All the finalists will receive business mentorship. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the annual fashion fund. 

Codesigners and identical twins Dynasty and Soull Ogun of L’Enchanteur launched their ready-to-wear collection in April 2022 in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Dynasty’s background is in textiles, while Soull’s is in metalsmithing.

The dinner was hosted by Steven Kolb, chief executive officer of CFDA; Anna Wintour, chief content officer of Condé Nast and global editorial director of Vogue, and Zac Posen, executive vice president and creative director of Gap Inc.

In addition to Dynasty and Soull Ogun of L’Enchanteur, Wiederhoeft and Phipps, the other participants in this year’s competition were Taylor Thompson of 5000; Connor McKnightGrace LingKate Barton; Presley Oldham; Sebastien and Marianne Amisial of Sebastien Ami, and Jane Wade.

The 20th Anniversary Mentorship Award Presented by Gap Inc. was revealed by Posen and a financial grant was awarded to Grace Ling. Posen will serve as the mentor to Ling and join the 2025 selection committee. Gap Inc. also sponsored the dinner in celebration of this partnership.

Nordstrom invited the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists to participate in the retailer’s “Secure the Space” challenge, where one designer (Dynasty and Soull Ogun of L’Enchanteur) was chosen to have their collection carried at select Nordstrom stores. This year also saw the return of the Design Challenge, held last week, which is a legacy program supported by the Tommy Hilfiger brand. Hilfiger served as the lead mentor of the 10 finalists. For the Design Challenge, the finalists were given $10,000 to create a look for the Stripes and Stars theme.

As part of the five-month competition, designers had to present five looks to the judges over the summer, and the judges went to their fashion shows and did studio visits.

The 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fahsion Fund is supported by Gap Inc., Fashion League, Instagram, Nordstrom, Saks, Tommy Hilfiger and Vogue.

The members of the 2024 selection committee are Wintour, Kolb, Aurora James of Brother Vellies and Fifteen Percent Pledge, Eva Chen of Instagram, Mark Holgate of Vogue, Nicole Phelps of Vogue, model Paloma Elsesser, Rickie De Sole of Nordstrom, Roopal Patel of Saks, and Thom Browne of Thom Browne New York and the CFDA.
