As Copenhagen Fashion Week’s 2024 circuit wraps up, there’s no need for post-show blues, as the runway highlights will be living rent-free in our minds for the season ahead.

Once again, the Danish capital has established itself as a mecca of progressive fashion, dropping some of the biggest style moments for the season ahead, all with the effortless sophistication of the Scandi fashion set. For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, an array of the region’s renowned brands and up-and-comers unveiled their latest collections, including ROTATE and REMAIN from the Birger Christensen Group, Lovechild 1979 and OpéraSPORT.

And one thing Nordic brands nail is the ability to establish trends that go beyond their proverbial 15 minutes and really stick with their impeccable craftsmanship and contemporary sensibility—all rendered in a palette that oscillates between serene neutrals and energetic bursts of colour.

As proven with this most recent season—both in street style and on the runway—Copenhagen Fashion Week is a leader in fashion of both the everyday and avant-garde variety. And this past week saw the city’s influence on global style narratives continue.

From the unsung colour hero of the season to the statement jewellery we’ll be adopting from now on, we break down four trends from the runways at CPHFW that are sure to elevate any wardrobe.

Cuffing season

While statement earrings dominated street style, the runways were awash with bangles. From ROTATE‘s exclusively styled show in collaboration with Pandora to rising star Joao Maraschin, these bold accessories offered the perfect addition to runway looks, and we think the effect is something to quite literally write home about. Wear them stacked like at ROTATE or on the upper arm for a 70s appeal like at Joao Maraschin.

Isle of Capri

Love them or hate them, it’s impossible to deny the rise and rise of the modern Capri pant. At A. Roege Hove, OpéraSPORT and ROTATE, they were styled with minimalist heels and going-out tops for maximum impact, and it seems like even the most sceptical of fashion purists were led to see these cuts in a new light thanks to the Scandi effect.

It’s Not Over Now, Baby Blue

Copenhagen Fashion Week - forza
Forza Collective / James Cochrane

‘Brat’ green and butter yellow were strong contenders for top colour choice of the season, but the hue with the quietly prolific presence that won us over? Baby blue. The light and airy shade is not only the perfect alternative to navy in the warmer months, but it also has a universally flattering effect if you ask us.

90s Office Siren

Copenhagen Fashion Week - remain
REMAIN / James Cochrane

The noughties ‘Office siren’ has been all over TikTok, but for something a little more office-appropriate, we’re taking cues from REMAIN and Skall Studio with relaxed tailored pieces that channel a Carolyn Bessette Kennedy vibe.
