Alessandro Michele has finally returned to the runway. After a triumphant switch from Gucci to Valentino, the designer presented his first collection for the latter in September and left everyone eager for more. Michele ignited a blood-red bathroom rave for his second Valentino collection that made the audience scream and shout. Chappell Roan, Jared Leto, and Barry Keoghan excitedly packed the front row as toilet flushes turned into Lana Del Rey‘s “Breaking Up Slowly”.

The tinted walls were lined with bathroom stalls hiding models behind each door. Models quickly exited their positions and hit the runway, emerging one by one to present Michele’s evolving vision for the House. Fall/Winter 2025 oozed with the designer’s maximalist signatures while continuing to explore Valentino’s expansive archives. Mixing vintage and contemporary styles, the collection opened with a translucent lace bodysuit undone at the bottom as if its wearer had rushed out of the toilet, followed by luxurious fur coats, flared wool trousers, and bold pearl jewelry.

While Valentino red drowned the venue, it also appeared on a staple coat in look three. Strong-shouldered dresses, graphic kimonos, and cat-printed gowns left viewers in awe as they cheered in excitement look after look. 1970s suiting arrived ready to party, ushered in by gold-trimmed gowns, “PANTHER 60” jerseys, bow-tied tops, and an all-new Vans collaboration brightening Valentino’s diverse personality. Models returned to their stalls as Michele’s second runway came to an end, proving that everything he touches turns to gold.
