Monica Barbaro Joins Dior as Latest Ambassador for Women’s Fashion

Fresh from her Academy Award-nominated role as Joan Baez in “A Complete Unknown,” Monica Barbaro is taking on a new role as Dior’s latest ambassador. She will represent the women’s fashion collections designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director of Dior.

According to a statement from the brand, Monica Barbaro embodies the elegance and audacity of Dior style, a continually reinvented femininity. This unique alliance celebrates the special ties that unite Dior and culture in all forms more than ever.

“Since I was a kid, I was inspired by fashion and its evolution as an art form. Dior has held an iconic place in my imagination. I am so honoured to be joining a house that is the gold standard in elegance, craftsmanship and celebration of the feminine,” Barbaro said.

Before her role with Dior, Monica was named an ambassador for Bvlgari, which, like Dior, is owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. With her new role as Dior’s brand ambassador, Monica Barbaro is expected to bring new creative energy to the brand’s collections.

Furthermore, as Barbaro participates in upcoming campaigns and events, she is positioned to redefine what it means to be a fashion ambassador today. Recently, she was spotted wearing a column dress by Christian Dior featuring a dramatic plunging halter neckline that extended to her waist and a small belt detail at the SAG Awards 2025 in Los Angeles.
