Belgian designer Glenn Martens has been appointed the creative director of Maison Margiela, taking over from John Galliano. Martens, who has been leading Diesel since 2020, will continue in that role while steering the Parisian fashion house into its next chapter. Known for his avant-garde aesthetic and mastery of experimental textiles, he has built a reputation for redefining contemporary fashion at Diesel and Y/Project.
